Bernadette’s was founded by two brothers in April 2018. The nonprofit organization was formed as a Community Outreach Center with the purpose of bringing together volunteers and people in need. We provide a caring, loving place for all of those in need to get the help and care they deserve. Through our faith in Jesus Christ we want continue His love for everyone by our actions and deeds.
Activities at Bernadette's in 2021
For over a year now we have an outdoor food/clothes pantry, which is open 24/7. We keep it stocked with non-perishable foods and necessary clothing items. And on occasion help an individual who is in need.
We have partnered with St Vincent de Paul’s, giving them free space in our building so they could do what they do best, helping the needy.
We have (4) AA groups that meet Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights and a daily morning group. Also an NA group that meets Friday nights.
Our Embrace Grace single mother support group has been a major success. This all women group walks alone side of single moms showing them the love of Jesus in a non- condemning way.
We offer a monthly painting class at nominal fee where people come to hear a bible verse and also learn a little about painting
Starting in 2022 we have started an off campus “Special Friends Forever” adult special needs group. Here we provide (3) programs: Art class, Gym and Bingo. These wonderful people are often overlooked by our society but are a joy to us.
Also starting in 2022 we started monthly Classes for Job Seekers and General Household Budgeting

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”
– 1 Corinthians 13:1-7
